Dreams

From the debris of desire rises an empire, Where flickers become the flames of fire.

Let that fire burn within, For the stars afar, shine so dim.

Beyond the stars lies a goal, Let it cajole body and soul.

As a whole, redeem the lost esteem, And dare to have a dauntless dream.

Moonlit night

It was dark, but there was light, Not very bright, yet full of delight, A scenic sight, filled with fright,

Strange!

Is it what they call a moonlit night?

Death

Death; neither kind nor so rude. Takes away lives far too young, far too good. But it’s a friend in disguise, often misunderstood.

The irony

Irony dwells in what we show and what we hide, Ember glowed, yet warmth was denied.

In the depths, two tears reside, Kept one cloaked, and unkept one belied.

Unknown love

The most painful love there is is The love left un-shown, An affection left unknown.

A love that can’t be expressed, An affection that stays suppressed, A wound that hardly surfaced.

A love that withholds touching, An affection that never stops haunting, A feeling that ever invites jaunting.

The most painful thing about the implicit love there is The love that never fades away, An affection that never falls away.

Friend or foe

In this world of smoke and mirrors, They trade in cheers or in tears.

With wary eyes, we watch them close, But fall for all the sweet words and honeyed prose.

A trick that clouds the vision and blurs the sight, The path ahead seems neither wrong nor right.

A true friend or a treacherous foe, A risk to take, a bet to throw.

Could she be hiding a darker side, Or am I just letting suspicion abide?

A friend who I thought to be heaven-sent, Could she be the true devil’s descent?

The blind watcher

In a realm of light, I, without a sight, With senses so bright, I feel colours ignite. With hearts ablaze and spirits so bold, I sail north, where legends unfold. In search of a fruit, a celestial treasure, Flavours entwine beyond any measure. On a tree with roots below the stream, Leaves floating lightly, as if in a dream. I take a bite, savouring it slow, Allowing sweetness to bloom and grow. A hasty bite reveals its surprise, A touch of sourness, a zest that tries. Oh, the paradox, the dance on my tongue, From sweetness to soreness, it keeps me young. In this journey, I find a lesson profound, To cherish each moment, slow and sound. With one small bite, my hunger is tamed, Weeks of contentment, my spirit inflamed. In this world of textures, tastes, and touch, The fruit’s essence shines, vibrant and lush. But how shall I enjoy this fruit divine, When the world around me lacks visual design?

The absence

Enakshi, Oh, Enakshi, I could still feel your touch, but not your warmth. I could still hear your thoughts, but not your voiced words.

Enakshi, Oh, Enakshi, I could still smell your fragrance, but not your essence. I could still see your blue slates, but not your presence.

Enakshi, Oh, Enakshi, Your absence, a void, an untold theme. In memories’ hold, you brightly gleam.

Enakshi, Oh, Enakshi, Within my heart’s depths, in my soul’s keep, I yearn for your warmth, your words to seep.

Enakshi, oh Enakshi, Your essence, your presence, I’ll forever seek.

Mirror’s gaze

In your presence, the world is a misty veil, With every word you speak, my heart sets sail.

Your fragrance, a potion, leaves me in a trance, A touch from you, and I’m caught in a dance.

Before you, a past, now distant and dim, Erased like footprints along the shore’s rim.

In the mirror’s gaze, a stranger does appear, Yet, in the glow of a firefly, you’re crystal clear.

Centuries may pass, yet my love stays pure, You’re my endless flame, forever to endure.

Blood and tears

Salty drops of rain, Fall from a cloud of joy and pain, Clear as crystal, yet leaves a wet stain.

Scarlet waves of tide, Flow from a cave runs deep and wide, Tells a story of violence one can no more hide.

Though they seem worlds apart, Both bleed from the same beating heart.

Let them fall, let them flow, For in their release, a seed can grow, A seed of strength, a seed of glow.

Both will dry, both will fade, Once one learns the art of trade, Leaving behind memories and scars to aid.

Hope

There is a passion, an obsession, A madness, a carefree gladness.

Somewhere lightly, the colours fall, Stories of yesterday I can’t recall.

The warmth of gaze, the coldness of graze, All together are pulling me into a cage.

The colours of life splash aloud, Just put the past behind you.

Someone softly tells my heart, Give yourself away, let the magic start.

Battle cry

Aradhon, Aradhon, the ancient star, In the sky’s tapestry, a beacon afar, Guiding hearts, with light’s sweet grace, Aradhon, Aradhon, in timeless space.

Aradhon, the brilliance shining so clear Sparking dreams, dispelling fear, Embrace the hope, its essence gleams, Aradhon, Aradhon, in starry streams.
